What it does
Two brushed-aluminum panels: pre-delay, size, decay, width, diffusion and mod rate on the left; low cut, high cut, damping, early level, late level and output on the right. Every dimension of the tail under your fingers.
The central screen redraws in real time — decay envelopes, reflection taps, the EQ response curve and the modulation LFO all animate as you turn the knobs, with a large live reverb-time readout.
A feedback delay network drives the late field, fed by configurable early reflections. Diffusion, size and damping shape everything from tight rooms to endless ambient washes.
An internal ducker pulls the wet signal down under loud transients and lets it swell back as they pass — so vocals and drums stay clear without drowning in reverb.
Main, Early, Late, EQ, Mod and Advanced. Each page focuses one part of the engine with its own graph and readouts, so depth never clutters the panel.

Under the hood
CortVerb's interface is modeled after premium rack gear: a machined chassis with chamfered bevels and powder-coated steel grain, brushed-aluminum control panels held by visible screws, and woven speaker-cloth side panels lit by blue chevron edge lights.
At the centre is a fully rendered digital display — interactive graphs, six tabbed pages, a factory-preset browser and readouts that respond to every parameter change in real time.

Every detail
0 – 200 ms. Separates the dry signal from the reverb onset for clarity and depth.
Scales the perceived space, from tight closets to vast cathedrals.
0.1 – 10 s. Sets how long the tail sustains before fading to silence.
Stereo spread from mono to fully wide. Shape the spatial image of the reverb.
Density of reflections. Low for discrete echoes, high for smooth, washed tails.
Speed of the internal LFO. Adds subtle motion to prevent metallic resonances.
20 Hz – 1 kHz high-pass on the wet signal. Keeps the low end clean and controlled.
1 – 20 kHz low-pass to darken the tail. Simulates air absorption and natural rolloff.
Frequency-dependent decay. Higher damping absorbs highs faster for warmth.
Volume of the early reflections. Shapes the initial spatial impression.
Volume of the diffuse tail. Balance against early reflections for character.
Master output level. Compensate for gain changes across different settings.
